"Eight Resurrections”
"Eight Resurrections”, a painting depicting eight rose flowers in thorny bushes. It symbolizes rebirth and resurrection, as these flowers were once commonly called this due to their ability to revive from the dead. They have the ability to survive; they can endure periods of drought and then bloom after watering. Red roses are closely associated with love and are called the flower of lovers. The rose was the favorite flower of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and desire.
The entire painting is done using the figure-eight movement technique, alluding to infinity and creating a talisman that attracts abundance and prosperity.
